INSIGHTS & STORIES
This page is directly linked to my Instagram, giving you an insight into my life and
my passion for travelling, art and culture (all photos are mine).
Some stories never really end—they just change their form.
A voice that challenges power is still unsettling.Truth still makes people uncomfortable. And fear still has the power to turn crowds against what they once admired.
We like to believe we would have stood on the “right side” of history. But history is rarely that clear in the moment.
Even today, people are judged quickly, silenced easily, and misunderstood deeply. Not always because they are wrong—but because they disrupt what feels safe.
And yet, there is something enduring in all of this: The quiet strength of those who remain true, even when it costs them everything.
Maybe the real question isn’t what happened back then—but who we choose to be when faced with the same patterns today.
Because truth still stands. Even when the world turns away.
An inch from the Italian border, between river, hill, and road, they rest in silence — these pipes, marked by smoke and by hands long gone. In the old woodworking shop, every piece breathes memory, as if the wood itself had kept stories that can only truly be heard in the quiet.

I went to the bakery in Gattikon to buy bread. Came home with UrDinkel flour instead… and baked my own.
Once you realise the grain from @lindmuehle_freizeitbackshop has been milled there since 1363 (and it’s already the 17th generation!), suddenly your bread feels very… historic.
Also: UrDinkel = real old-school Swiss spelt. No modern wheat tricks, just ancient grain doing its thing. 💪🌾

Flowers for Art – a project by @flowerstoarts and the @aargauerkunsthaus
Renowned florists and floral designers enter into a creative dialogue with artworks from the collection of the Aargauer Kunsthaus. Their floral interpretations reflect the forms, colours, and moods of the artworks – or respond to them with entirely new ideas. The result is a temporary exhibition that captivates and surprises 🌸🎨

Discover something new again and again – look up, it’s getting interesting. 👀⏰ The clock of the Bullinger Church in Zurich is more than a timepiece.
Designed by artist @olga.titus as part of a Kunst am Bau project, its iridescent dials reflect changing colors and intensities depending on sunlight and viewing angle.
A reminder that time, light, and perspective are always in motion. ✨🎨
After an inspiring evening at Solothurn Filmtage, listening to thoughtful reflections on culture, society, and storytelling, I walked home through the foggy streets of Solothurn — the city wrapped in mystery, as if time itself was pausing.
It made me reflect on humanity and our future. Stories shape who we are, how we see each other, and the world we build together. By engaging with film, art, music, theater, and all forms of cultural expression, we don’t just consume narratives — we participate in them. We question history, explore perspectives, and imagine new possibilities for ourselves and society.
The question isn’t just what stories will be told — but which stories will we choose to live, to honor, and to shape. Our future depends on it. ✨
21.01.2026: Opening of the 61st Solothurn Filmtage ✨🎬 A special evening with thoughtful and inspiring opening remarks from the organizers about storytelling and the power of narratives — perfectly setting the stage for the films ahead.
Earlier, Federal Councillor Elisabeth Baume-Schneider spoke about the importance of culture for society and the central role of the SRG: to inform, provide context, connect people, and deliver films, series, and cultural content that tell stories and shape identity. Her speech was a strong and passionate argument for why the halving initiative should be clearly rejected (08.03.2026).
The Narrative by Bernard Weber & Martin Schilt tells how former UBS trader Kweku Adoboli became a media and societal scapegoat after a multi-billion-dollar loss. A compelling documentary that questions who controls the story — a timely reminder of the importance of narratives in times of uncertainty, fake news, and global power struggles.
@sofilmtage celebrate Swiss cinema and storytelling, uniting filmmakers and audiences to reflect on culture and society. 21–28 January 2026 🎬
This week strolling through Solothurn — what a beautiful city. ✨ Wrapped in heavy fog, it felt even more mysterious. Here for the opening week of Solothurn Filmtage 🎬
Solothurn is one of Switzerland’s oldest cities, known for its elegant baroque architecture and its special connection to the number eleven. Set along the Aare River at the foot of the Jura mountains, it blends history, calm rhythm, and quiet charm in every street and square.

Cumulus. Designed by @mendelheit and produced at @ciav_meisenthal
Cumulus embodies the art of living as a daydreamer — head in the clouds, feet anchored to the world.
Formed through breath, heat, and movement, the glass cloud reveals the dialogue between water and air, density and transparency, motion and stillness.
Born from earth, shaped by fire, and carried by air, Cumulus becomes a quiet reflection on what the universe offers us — fleeting forms, natural balance, and beauty found in impermanence.

As 2025 comes to a close, may we let go of what dried us out and carry forward the lessons that kept us strong. Like the Rose of Jericho, we may have curled inward to survive—but with a new year comes new water, new light, and new beginnings. Wishing you a gentle unfolding and a hopeful, blooming 2026 🌿✨
Born in 1975, @pimaxart is a street artist and co-founder of the Toulouse Hardcore Sound System. Blending graffiti, stencils, and resin sculptures, he mixes street art with contemporary codes to deliver a bold critique of consumer society.
Based in Paris, he reinterprets pop icons (Warhol, Goldorak) and brings to life Nourf Nourf, his urban dog inspired by Impressionism—a poetic, rebellious reflection of the artist himself. An uncompromising universe that leaves no one indifferent.
@dan23instagram is one of Strasbourg’s most iconic street artists, known for colourful murals and strong urban messages. Since turning to street art in 2013, he has filled the city with portraits inspired by music and meaningful encounters. His work blends positivity and reflection on humanity, nature, and society—now part of Strasbourg’s urban DNA.
Musée d’Art Moderne et Contemporain — Strasbourg (MAMCS). A striking metal & glass masterpiece by architect Adrien Fainsilber, this modern art museum sits on the Ill River at the edge of Petite France. Opened in 1998, it houses an impressive collection from the late 19th century to today.
Look up — a 4 m high horse sculpture “Hortus conclusus” by Italian artist Mimmo Paladino stands proudly on the roof, adding a bold artistic touch to the building’s architecture and skyline.
A regular address for my father and stepmother 🤍 Today we enjoyed a true feast at @duo_lenzburg with perfectly grilled langoustines — delicate, cooked just right, and served with an incredibly refined sauce.
From starter to dessert, everything felt beautifully balanced. I love seeing how comfortable my father feels here with fine, French-inspired cuisine, outstanding fish dishes and an excellent wine list.
What truly makes the difference is the super friendly DUO team — you always feel comfortable and genuinely welcome. Every visit is a little highlight ✨

Between the tracks in Zurich, the @billboard_creatrices project by @creatrices_ turns public space into a platform for feminist ideas. Instead of ads, it displays texts that make social issues visible and invite reflection.
A current piece highlights mental load – the often invisible mental and emotional work, mostly carried by women: constantly planning, organizing, and managing responsibilities. The text shows how exhausting this persistent presence can be and how rarely this work is recognized or fairly shared.
